So Shay and I, ever since we moved back to Cali, have been wanting to put hard wood floors in the living room and get rid of the old carpet. So I voiced this to my mother and she thought it was a great idea. So while Shay and I were in Washington this last Dec. She decided to rip up the carpet :-) I found it very funny...Shay did not hehe. However it got our butts going on the plan to put the hardwood floors down. We finally did it by ourselves. It took two days and it was so much fun for Shay and I to do together. I have pictures of the progress....their funny......

Final product!! YAY! We still have the moulding to do but such a difference!

It looks GREAT!! Wood is so nice with kids and pets....messes are so much easier to clean up. Is that Mika??? or a new puppy?
