You gotta love family

The last couple days have been very....eventful! My cousin and his wife are having their second baby and her babyshower was this weekend. So my mom and I decide to go up Thursday so we can visit with everyone and get her presents in order.

Let me take a minute to tell you about my hometown Ridgecrest. It's in the middle of nowhere. It's a small town that was created becasue of the base thats out there. It's grown a lot but still in the middle of nowhere. There one highschool and the biggest store is WalMart. Thank you again mom for getting me out of there when I was small :-) ok back to the weekend....

We get there Thursday night and take the kids over to my grandmas, where we are going to be staying, they go to bed so my mom and I go to Mickys (a tiny bar in RC) to meet my bother-in-law and his girlfriend. We have one drink then everyone leaves early cuz they have to wake up early. We got to bed and wake up the next morning. My dad lives in Tehachapi about 45 min away andso I decided to go visit him. I havnt seen him in 5 years so he dosnt know about Aria. The boys didnt want to leave grandmas and since they've meet him already they stayed. We had a blast. He has this tricked out glof cart that he took Aria and I on around the valley that he lives in. He took us on the golf course and down to the lake...it was so much fun. Then we orderd pizza and salad and had dinner there. Aria loved it and wants to go back! We get back late at night and go to bed. Woke up Sat. and got ready for the babyshower. It was short and cute and I got to see my cousin that I love. Mom and I decided to leave after that...

Now im home and relaxing and the kids are playing with the neighbor kids. LOVE IT!
